As for the fuel, it’s a mixture of propane and isobutane which allows the flame to burn at temperatures colder than any other torch in Olympic history. A vent on the side of the torch, allowing the Olympic flame to deploy such a flag. There were 12,000 of these gorgeous torches hand-assembled in Montréal, one for each carrier.
